The Forgetting: A Portrait of Alzheimer’s is a PBS documentary that originally aired during January, 2004 and was a primetime Emmy award winner that year. The 90 minute film is based on David Shenk’s best-selling book, The Forgetting.

PBS has a web site (http://www.pbs.org/theforgetting/) that covers the symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease, the experience, risk factors, coping, together time, and resources.
